1.Poduct Introduction

  Quartz stone or silica, is a kind of silicate minerals that has hard texture, abrasion resistance, stable chemical properties' characters. Quartz sand crushing by quartz stone;it is white, colorless or translucent, the intrinsic molecular chain structure. Quartz sand is crystal shape  and variation lattice, which has high temperature resistance, the small thermal expansion coefficient, high insulation, corrosion resistance, piezoelectric effect, resonant effects and its unique optical properties.

2.Classification of quartz sand

  Quartz sand is combined with the filter container and used to intercept suspended particles, colloids and othera impurities in the water, and thus play a role in filtering.It divides following categories:

a.Ordinary quartz is sand filter: it is mainly used in waste treatment, there is no problem for 3 to 5 years. As long as to prevent the loss of quartz sand; do not be contaminated, because during the sewage treatment, which can do sludge of aerobic or anaerobic respiration to degradate the pollutants in sewage.

b.Refined quartz sand filter material:it used in water treatment. In the sand filter, generally 2 to 3 years to be replaced,because most of time, the pollutants covered quartz sand and cannot rise to filtering effect and only be replaced. Quartz sand filter through the ISO9001-2000 quality system certification. It is stable in the value of acidic water, but dissolved in alkaline water, not more than 2mg/L in chemical water treatment in SiO2 increments.

3.Application of quartz sand

  Quartz sand is an important industrial mineral raw material, non hazardous chemicals,It is widely used in glass, casting, ceramics and refractories, smelting ferrosilicon, metallurgical flux, metallurgy, construction, chemical, plastic, rubber, abrasive and other industries; specific application performance for motor and train transportation:
